Weapon R Engine Torque Damper Mazdaspeed3 07-09
As with most front wheel drive turbo platforms, the Mazdaspeed3 suffers from excessive wheel-hop. This is a result of the soft factory motor and trans mounts allowing too much engine movement during aggressive driving. Stiffening up engine movement is the key the getting MS3 to hook up from a dead stop. The Weapon R engine damper kit for the 07-09 Mazdaspeed3 works by bracing engine movement against the drivers side strut tower. Reduced engine movement means less wheel-hop, quicker launches and significant improvements to 60' and ET track times. Daily driving will be also be enhanced with a smoother, more connected feeling when rowing through the gears. The Weapon R Engine torque damper is also an excellent compliment to upgraded motor or tranmission mounts. NOTE: Some minor power steering and A/C line relocation is required to install this kit.
